Opening Cermony

Can't compete with the Olympic style opening ceremony? It's okay, Malaysia Boleh!!We have managed to create an opening ceremony Malaysian style with elements of the all grand Olympic games. Expect a real marching band playing the national anthem and other songs, the passing of the torch from the Minister of Higher Education to the Mayor of Carbondale, a Polynesian fire dance and an African tribal dance just to name a few. Come and join us for a fresh start of the Midwest Games 2008 opening ceremony!
