Midwest Night

Kampung...the best place to be. We, Malaysians know that kampung will always be home. That's why the theme for the night is Malaysiaku, Kampungku with a mixture of the Oscar nominees awards event. Walk into the grand Shyrockauditorium with Oscar statues and feel the glitz and glamor of being a star. The Night. The Midwest Night will be the one night for the universities to portray the Malaysian Culture. Shryock Auditorium, a historical campus landmark will host the event. The auditorium seats over a 1000 people and has had some of the world greatest performers perform there. It will be entertained with a series of performances that will include Malaysian bands in the United States, dance performances portraying Malaysian diversity, special video performances by all the universities and colleges that attend the games.

This night will be a fun filled array of Malaysian culture, diversity and a showcase of Malaysia as truly Asia. The winners and successors of each sport, organizers, volunteers and most of all the truly respected dignitaries will be honored. The sparkle of the night is to see all the Malaysian ethnic fashion. From Batiks, Indian Sarees to Chinese Cheongsams, its one night to show our pride and to show Malaysia.This event will not fail you, be entertained by a myriad of performances
from Malaysians from all walks of life. An event indescribable by words, a night so unforgettable.
