Welcome to the Midwest Games 2008 website, please take time to read through all the sporting events, the Midwest Night, the Midwest Buffet and get familiar with the schedule as well. We are organizing these events at our best, and we would like to here from you. Suggestions and comments are welcome also please join our Facebook group for interaction.

Southern Illinois University Carbondale is proud to host the Midwest Games 2008. Southern has been traditionally the home of Malaysian students since the late 1980's and 90's. Malaysians have left a legacy and are renowned in the local community of Carbondale. Malaysians here are noted for their ability to blend in to the local cultures and interact with other races and demonstrate an example of a cosmopolitan atmosphere.

We our looking for sponsors for different events and other segments of the game, so please feel free to contact us. We are expecting the largest crowd in the history of Midwest Games 2008 this year, and we expect to set new records.

As we all would agree we are renowned for our cheerful attitude, hardworking ethic and our soccer!
